INTERVIEW: EXCAVO View 12/12/25
In my previous post, I invited you to ask any questions you had about the current market, the cycle structure, Bitcoin dominance, altcoins, timing, and everything in between.
You asked - and here are the detailed answers.
This is the continuation of our interview series.
I have taken every question from the comments, grouped them under your usernames, and provided full, transparent explanations based on my current market view.
Let's dive in.
@just5
Q:
Why do you say the bear market started in November? If it started earlier, why not in October?
Where does the 126k top come from?
Why is Bitcoin dominance so high?
Why haven't many altcoins (ETH, SOL) broken their previous highs? How far can they fall?
Your analysis is based on past cycles and fractals. Do you admit you can be wrong?
A:
I do not define the beginning of a bear market strictly by the date of the absolute top. For me, the trigger is the structure on the weekly timeframe. The formal high was reached in October, but the signal that confirmed the start of the bear phase was the first strong red weekly candle, which appeared in November. That is why I mark November as the beginning of the bear market.
The 126k level is not something random - the market simply traded there (around 126,250 USD depending on the exchange). So the level itself is not in question.
As for Bitcoin dominance - it is very simple. We have one main instrument in the market: BTC. It defines the weather for the entire crypto market.
When BTC rises, some alts rise and others lag.
When BTC falls, everything falls - especially assets with weaker liquidity or fundamentals.
Historically, people traded a lot of alt/BTC pairs. Many even believed altcoins were created mainly to accumulate more BTC. Today this logic still works: liquidity

GOLD - Retest of key support ahead of news
FX:XAUUSD is falling during the Asian session, retreating from $4,350 its highest level since late October amid optimism over a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine and ahead of US employment data.
Trump's statements about the approaching peace agreement are reducing demand for safe-haven assets. The probability of a Fed rate cut in January is about 77%, with two easing measures expected in 2026. Expectations of a dovish Fed chair appointment continue to put pressure on the dollar.
Today, October NFP data will be released, which may confirm the weakening of the labor market
On Thursday, US inflation data will be released
The current decline looks like a correction and profit-taking. The uptrend remains intact unless employment data exceeds expectations. Any further decline could be seen as a buying opportunity
Resistance levels: 4292, 4317
Support levels: 4265, 4255
If the news is positive, which will only reinforce expectations of an aggressive rate cut, gold's growth after retesting key support may continue. Otherwise, the correction may continue. However, the 4265-4255 area plays an important role and needs to be monitored.
Best regards, R. Linda!

Bitcoin Hits Critical Support Is Another Dump Coming?
As I expected in the previous idea , Bitcoin has broken through its support lines and declined to the support zone($86,300-$85,14, reaching its full target in the process.
Currently, Bitcoin( BINANCE:BTCUSDT ) is moving near the support zone($86,300-$85,14, and we need to watch whether it will break through this support or begin to rebound.
Before diving into the analysis, its important to note that Bitcoin has a strong correlation with the S&P 500 inde SP:SPX ). Given that the S&P 500 is currently in a downward trend, its likely that Bitcoin will also experience further declines.
From an Elliott Wave perspective, it seems that Bitcoin is currently starting a new five-wave downward sequence following the break of its support lines, which could lead to even lower levels.
Looking at recent developments, one reason for Bitcoins decline is the selling pressure from long-term holders, which has created a quiet but significant downward pressure and challenged the support levels. Additionally, the state of the U.S. markets, with the S&P 500 index also trending down, contributes to the downward pressure on Bitcoin.
In conclusion, I expect that Bitcoin, upon entering the resistance zone($89,230-$87,72 and touching the resistance lines, will again face downward movement and aim for the support zone($86,300-$85,14. If it breaks that support zone, we could see it moving towards Cumulative Long Liquidation Leverage($85,300-$83,00.
Cumulative Short Liquidation Leverage: $89,000-$88,500
Cumulative Short Liquidation Leverage: $91,830-$90,000
Cumulative Short Liquidation Leverage: $98,400-$97,000
Note: If Bitcoin breaks below the $83,000 mark with strong momentum, we might expect it to reach even lower levels, potentially down to $80,000.
Do you think B
