Securing Your Trading Account

Your Xtreders account contains sensitive trading data. Here is how to keep it secure.

Strong Password

• Use at least 12 characters
• Mix uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols
• Never reuse passwords from other sites
• Change your password regularly (Settings > Password)

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Enable 2FA for an extra layer of security:

1. Go to Settings > Security
2. Enable Two-Factor Authentication
3. Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator or Authy
4. Enter the 6-digit verification code
5. Save your backup codes in a safe place

Session Management

Review active sessions in Settings > Security:

• See all devices and browsers logged into your account
• Terminate suspicious sessions remotely
• Check last login times and IP addresses

API Key Security

If you use webhooks or API connections:

• Never share your API credentials publicly
• Use HTTPS for all webhook URLs
• Rotate credentials periodically
• Monitor API usage for unusual activity
