Never Miss a Price Move Again
Xtreders Price Alerts let you set custom notifications for any instrument, so you are informed the moment a price level is reached - whether you are on the platform or away.
How to Create a Price Alert
There are several ways to create alerts:
- From the Chart: Right-click on the TradingView chart at your desired price level and select "Create Price Alert". The symbol and price are pre-filled.
- From the Terminal: In the MT4/MT5 terminal, use the Price Alerts panel on the right side to create alerts for instruments you are monitoring.
Alert Conditions
Choose from a variety of conditions that match your trading style:
| Condition | Description |
|---|---|
| Crossing | Triggers when price crosses the level in either direction |
| Crossing Up | Triggers only when price crosses above the level |
| Crossing Down | Triggers only when price crosses below the level |
| Greater Than | Triggers when price is above the set level |
| Less Than | Triggers when price is below the set level |
| Moving Up % | Triggers when price moves up by a percentage |
| Moving Down % | Triggers when price moves down by a percentage |
Notification Outputs
When configuring an alert, choose how you want to be notified:
- In-App: Receive a notification inside the Xtreders platform
- Email: Get an email with full details of the triggered alert
- Notification: Push notification to your device
- Webhook: Send alert data to an external URL (for bots, automations, etc.)
Frequency Options
- Once: Alert triggers once then deactivates
- Every Time: Alert triggers every time the condition is met
- Once Per Bar: Alert triggers at most once per candle/bar
Managing Your Alerts
View all your alerts in the Alerts Panel. From there you can pause, resume, edit, or delete any alert. Each alert shows its status (Active, Triggered, Paused, Expired) and trigger history.
